In 2005 Lisa died for 28
minutes after being drowned in a boating accident. After rescue workers resuscitated
Lisa on the banks of the Lake of the Ozarks, she remained in a coma for 28
days. Lisa’s life is a true miracle. Her doctors have told her there is no
scientific reason why she is alive with no permanent damage from the accident.
Lisa feels she was sent back to earth to share her story. Her first book Divinely Blessed tells the story of her life before and after the injury. Grave Distractions Publications will be publishing an expanded second edition of this book. Lisa also shares her thoughts about death, dying and the hereafter. She is currently working on her second book deals specifically with heaven and the hereafter. Lisa shared her story on Biography Channel’s I Survived: Beyond and Back. Lisa is also able to communicate with angels and guides from the other side as a channel for spirit. She brings messages of light from those who have crossed over to comfort loved ones left behind. Lisa feels that she is alive today because she has many lives to touch. Giving up a lucrative career in real estate, Lisa's new life's work is to teach the world that there is nothing to fear in life or death. Death is nothing more than a transformation from the physical to the spiritual realm. The bonds of love remain on each side of the veil. Lisa obtained her Ph.D. in Metaphysics and Holistic Counseling in 2009 and has trained with: Doreen Virtue, Sonia Choquette, James Van Praaugh, Sharon Wilson, Peggy McColl, and others.
